Largo, MD — Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation (PGCEDC) proudly announces that Jose L. Burnes, Business Development Manager for Manufacturing, Warehousing & Data Centers, has earned the prestigious Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) designation from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). The CEcD is the leading industry certification and represents the highest level of professional achievement in the field of economic development.
With over a decade of experience in business development and international relations, Burnes has been instrumental in positioning Prince George’s County as a competitive hub for manufacturing, logistics, and data centers. His leadership has contributed to forging new partnerships, attracting global investment, and supporting the county’s dynamic growth in key sectors.
The CEcD program, administered by IEDC, recognizes professionals who have demonstrated excellence in the highly competitive field of economic development.
