Victorious (also known as Brother Victorious to his students) was born and raised in Prince George’s County, MD. He now serves his community as an educator and owner of Spizzy. The dream of opening a smoothie shop lived in his heart for 10 years before he decided to make it happen. Now, he has created a spot that will inspire others to live their dreams too. The mission is simple: "Serve good food and good vibes to all who visit the store".
S1E4 - 2Fiftty Texas BBQ
Join us as we visit 2Fifty Texas BBQ in Riverdale Park. This international family-owned business has almost 60 combined years in the restaurant industry. Debby and Fernando González are bringing authentic Texas Style BBQ to Prince George's County. Despite COVID-19 not only have they not laid off any staff, but with the help of Greater Riverdale Cares, they have also served 400 meals to needy families.
We sat down with Taneea Yarborough, co-owner, Gangster Vegan Organics. With only two locations in Maryland, Riverdale Park is the first brick-and-mortar shop. As a two-time cancer survivor, plant-based advocate & restauranteur Yarborough is committed to keeping her people healthy!
