Prince George’s County Executive Aisha N. Braveboy and Prince George's County Economic Development Corporation Celebrate Maryland Economic Development Week

Upper Marlboro, MD (October 20, 2025) – Prince George's County Economic Development Corporation is proud to celebrate Maryland Economic Development Week with Prince George’s County Executive Aisha N. Braveboy who today announced the County's participation in Economic Development Week in Maryland, taking place Monday, October 20, through Friday, October 24, 2025. In partnership with the Maryland Economic Development Association (MEDA), the County will recognize the contributions of local businesses that are driving economic growth and creating opportunities for Prince George's County residents.

“Economic Development Week is an opportunity to highlight the collaboration, innovation, and resilience that define Prince George’s County’s business ecosystem. From our thriving small businesses to our global industry leaders, each plays a vital role in driving job creation and investment in our communities. Since 2011, Economic Development Week in Maryland has celebrated the critical role economic development plays in strengthening communities, creating jobs, and improving quality of life. Throughout the week, economic development organizations across the state will highlight innovative programs and collaborative partnerships driving Maryland's economic vitality.

During the week, the Prince George's County Economic Development Corporation (PGCEDC) will visit select local businesses to present certificates of appreciation in recognition of their contributions to the County's economic growth and vitality.
