The company plans to consolidate operations currently located at two separate Maryland facilities in Capitol Heights and North Englewood into the expanded Forestville property.
The move is also breathing new life into an existing commercial property. According to Three | E 60 News, Silverman Group purchased the former furniture showroom site for $25 million earlier this year and is redeveloping it into a modern industrial and logistics facility. Approximately 66,000 square feet will be added, bringing the completed property to roughly 176,000 square feet, including a new 34,000-square-foot office area specifically designed for C3M.
For Prince George’s County, the project represents more than a major commercial lease. It demonstrates how the adaptive reuse of existing properties can attract growing companies, generate new investment, and strengthen commercial corridors while making better use of established real estate assets.
C3M’s decision also highlights one of the County’s strongest competitive advantages: location.
