The Washington Commanders have agreed to Maryland’s demands for assurances about the future of its stadium in Landover if the team left and built a new home at the RFK Stadium site in D.C., according to documents obtained by The Washington Post, but Maryland Gov. Wes Moore has not yet signed the deal.

Maryland Sees Year-to-Date Job Growth of Over 40,000, Outpacing U.S. Average
BALTIMORE, Md., —Maryland’s employment growth continues to surpass the national average, with the state adding 7,100 jobs in November alone, including 5,400 in the private sector. Year-to-date, Maryland’s total employment has increased by an estimated 40,900 jobs, representing a 1.5% growth rate, compared to the national average of 1.3%, according to the latest preliminary data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).

The Washington Commanders have tapped Mark Clouse, the CEO and president of The Campbell’s Co., as its new team president overseeing the NFL franchise’s business operations.

Prince George's County Economic Development Corporation (PGCEDC) has released a comprehensive analysis detailing the county's exceptional economic recovery following the COVID-19 pandemic. Conducted by Policy Navigators, LLC, the report highlights Prince George's County as one of Maryland's top-performing jurisdictions for job growth, demonstrating resilience and leadership during a challenging economic period.
The analysis compared job creation numbers in Prince George's County to eight other jurisdictions in Maryland and the state as a whole. It examined data spanning the pre-pandemic years, the initial economic impacts of COVID-19, and the subsequent recovery period.
