Curated for the vibrant community of successful women entrepreneurs from the region to celebrate International Women's Day, EmpowerHER heeds the global call to action: "Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress."

This groundbreaking event is designed to celebrate the remarkable diversity of women in the business world and to forge connections with like-minded, successful entrepreneurs from across the globe. This summit is more than a conference; it's a vibrant gathering of women from various cultures, industries, and backgrounds, coming together to share, learn, and inspire each other in their entrepreneurial journeys. This event will be held at the MGM National Harbor, the perfect environment to network with leadership, stakeholders, deal makers, and the business community at large.
"This is a celebration of International Women's Day and as an economic development agency we want to highlight women in business," said Ebony Stocks, Executive Vice President of PGCEDC. "It's about more than just empowerment, it's education, its inspiration and motivation for women in business. The event is open to business owners at all stages, from start ups and small business to business owners that have been in operation for multiple years; there is something for everyone. Important topics like access to capital will be address in our breakout sessions as well as sessions for entrepreneurs looking to expand and build connections. Many impactful speakers will listen and learn from successful women entrepreneurs and experts. Eunmee Shim, President of Adventist HealthCare Fort Washington, will deliver a keynote address. Adventist HealthCare (AHC) opened its new state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center at National Harbor in July 2023.
