Numerous Prince George's County Businesses And Residents Recognized By Washington Business Journal's "The List"

Prince George's County businesses and residents fill many categories of "The List"

LARGO, MD -The Washington Business Journal listed a variety of Prince George's County businesses and influential residents in the March 22-28 edition of "The List." In the Companies Owned By People Of Color category, three Prince George's County businesses made the list: ERP International, LLC (#9), Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (#11), and The Bizzell Group dba Bizzell US (#15).

In the Corporate Diversity categories, County companies made the list in two subsectors. The companies that made the two lists were ranked by the percentage of total employees who are people of color. In the Mid-Size companies subsector (100-999 employees), two Prince George's County companies made the list: Crystal Enterprises, Inc., in Glenn Dale, MD, and Susan Gage Caterers in Landover, MD.

Four county companies made the Small Companies subsector (under 100 employees): Apex Petroleum Corp. in Largo, MD; Fleet Transportation, LLC in Temple Hills, MD; Premier Enterprise Solutions, LLC in Upper Marlboro, MD; and Green Owl Design in Hyattsville, MD.

Four Prince George's County residents also received awards in the Diversity In Business Awards category. Eunmee Shim, a resident of National Harbor, is President of Adventist Healthcare Fort Washington Medical Center. Kathryn Clay, a resident of Laurel, is the Market Manager of Community Development Banking at PNC Financial Services Group. Kimberly Harris, Director of Community Health and Social Impact at Carefirst Bluecross Blueshield, and Melissa Stallings, Director of DMV Initiatives at Capital Impact Partners, are residents of Bowie.
