Accelerate AI with PGCEDC & Nub8 helps Prince George’s County small and medium-sized businesses identify and implement practical AI solutions tailored to real business needs.
Eligible businesses can explore solutions in AI Assistants, Customer 360, Intelligent Document Processing, and Sales & Inventory Forecasting, with implementation supported through the PGCEDC, Nub8, and AWS partnership. Businesses can apply on a rolling basis, with new cohorts anticipated each month.
The program is designed for businesses that know they could benefit from technology but may not know what solution is right for them or how to implement it effectively.
The September 9th Open Interest Session will serve as the official public introduction to the initiative and an opportunity for businesses to:
Learn how the program works.
Understand the AI solutions available through the program.
Discuss their operational and technology needs.
Determine whether the program may be a good fit.
Express interest in participating in an upcoming cohort.
Ideal / Target Businesses
The program should primarily target:
Small and medium-sized businesses in good standing located in Prince George’s County.
Businesses actively looking to integrate AI and/or cloud-based solutions into their operations.
Businesses that have an identifiable operational, customer service, sales, marketing, data, document-management, inventory, workflow, or technology need that could potentially be addressed through AI.
Businesses that are ready to participate in an implementation process and work with the Nub8 team to identify an appropriate solution.
Cohort Recruitment
Business interest and applications will remain open on a rolling basis.
For the first cohort:
September 20, 2026: Initial cohort application period closes.
September 24: Nub8 notifies businesses selected for the first cohort.
October 2026: First cohort begins.
The specific kickoff date will be established with each participating business based on availability and implementation needs.
Following the first cohort, additional cohorts are anticipated approximately every month.
Applications will continue to be accepted on a rolling basis so PGCEDC and Nub8 can continuously identify eligible Prince George’s County businesses for upcoming cohorts.

AI Assistant
A 24/7 Al-powered assistant that engages customers directly across your website, app, or social channels, capturing leads, answering questions, and personalizing the experience automatically, with no staff required.
Customer 360
A solution designed to provide businesses with a more complete understanding of their customers by organizing and utilizing customer information to improve engagement, service, and decision-making.
Intelligent Document Processing
A solution designed to help businesses process, organize, extract, and use information from documents more efficiently, reducing manual administrative work.
Sales and Inventory Forecasting
A solution designed to help businesses use existing data to better anticipate sales activity, inventory needs, demand, and other operational trends.
Businesses do not need to know in advance which solution is best for them. The interest and assessment process will help identify the solution that most closely aligns with their needs.
AWS is supporting the full implementation of eligible AI and cloud solutions for participating businesses.
The program is backed by up to $300 in AWS credits, helping participating businesses begin using their implemented solution without an immediate technology cost.
