County Executive Rushern L. Baker, III, was the guest speaker for the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GWHCC) and the Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation Meet and Greet at Busboys and Poets in Hyattsville today. The Meet and Greet marked the first time the County Executive announced the partnership between the County and the Chamber. Pictured here with Mr. Baker (center) is (l. to r.) Navteca is a cloud-based IT company that is one of the fastest growing companies in the County. Having their roots in Prince George’s County, Navteca believes that cloud computing is achieved through reduced IT costs, significant environmental benefits, and unprecedented access to information.

“Prince George’s County is the economic engine of the Washington Metropolitan region and the State of Maryland,” said Mr. Baker. “We want to ensure that every person in Prince George’s County takes advantage of that, especially our Latino businesses. What this partnership is about is making sure we help not only the big businesses, but also the small ones. Latino businesses are the fastest growing in the County”.  To see County Executive Baker’s full remarks, click here
