TELESIS Open House Proves'They're Here To Stay' In The County

Calverton, MD - TELESIS Corporation, a rapidly growing IT services company, today announced it has expanded its operations in Prince George's County, creating 75 jobs over the past year, and projects to hire at least 50 more employees over the next year alone. The news was shared this afternoon at an open house hosted by TELESIS' at its new Center of Excellence located in Calverton. Prince George's County Economic Development Corporation President Jim Coleman and more than 200 Telesis employees and industry partners attended the event.

"We are seeing County businesses prosper across all industry sectors and in every part of Prince George's County," said Prince George's County Executive Rushern L. Baker, III.  "I want to congratulate TELESIS on its success and am delighted they are expanding their operations in Prince George's County and creating more jobs for our residents.  TELESIS understands that Prince George's County is a place of incredible opportunities for their business and their success as a company is testament to the location, employees, and business friendly climate we have created here."

The TELESIS Corporation is a woman-owned, minority business that has been located in Prince George's County since 2007 and has grown from a small two person, husband and wife operation in Beltsville, into a rapidly expanding corporation with  more than 125 employees.
