Thirsty (For Business) Thursdays A Hit With The Business Community 

Largo, MD – Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation hosted the third edition of Thirsty (for Business) Thursday on October 31, 2014, at Stonefish Grill in Lanham, MD. Over 200 small, local and minority business owners were in attendance to network and hear about the exciting things happening in Prince George’s County.

Thirsty (for Business) Thursday is a free event is designed to connect business owners with government officials, non-profits and community leaders. The featured guest for the event was Prince George’s County Executive Rushern L. Baker, III.

“There are great things happening in Prince George’s County,” said Gwen McCall, EDC President and CEO. “There is over $5 billion of economic development projects in the pipeline, including the Regional Medical Center, Westphalia, MGM National Harbor, and hopefully the new FBI headquarters. 

This event not only gives the business community an opportunity to network with one another, but it also showcases some of the county’s hot spots and “hidden gems”.

Thirsty (For Business) Thursdays will be held the last Thursday of each month from 5:30pm – 7:00pm at various locations around the county. Presenting and Co-sponsorship opportunities for this event are available by contacting Jayson Williams at 301-583-4621.
