2013 Prince George's County Business Conference & Expo

LARGO, MD – The Prince George’s County Supplier Development Division (SDDD) will host the Second Annual Prince George’s County Business Conference and Expo for corporate, local, small, minority, disadvantaged and veteran-owned businesses on Thursday, November 14 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in College Park, MD.

The theme of the Expo is “Opportunities Knocking at Your Door” and is focused on showing companies how to access capital, propel their businesses, and build prime contractor/subcontractor relationships and learn about future business opportunities.

While showcasing the local, small, and minority firms in Prince George's County and throughout the region, this Conference and Expo will actively help firms build prime and subcontractor relationships.  The focus is bringing to the table the key ingredients to helping your business grow.

Morning breakout panels include Procurement Opportunities Around the Region, Access to Capital and Resources, Legislative Updates – A Global View, and a "Meet The Primes" forum.  There will also be an afternoon Business 2 Business Matchmaking Exchange, exhibitors’ gallery and networking sessions.

Our exciting luncheon program will be headlined by The Honorable Rushern L. Baker, III, Prince George’s County Executive and a very special speaker, Miss Gabrielle J. Williams, a teenage entrepreneur and Amazon #1 Bestseller of “The Making of a Young Entrepreneur.”

The Business Conference and Expo is a FREE event and will be held at the University of Maryland College Park’s, Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center. The registration check-in will begin at 7:30 a.m. and the opening session will begin at 9 a.m.
